Attach an existing order to another one ?

Recommended Posts

You could try creating this request and then using the update order service call. You’ll have to update order 1, providing the details of the stop order (order 2) in the update request. There aren’t any business rules that would restrict this behaviour, but generally in our system we would attach a new stop or limit to an existing position, so the behaviour you’re describing isn’t something we’ve tested for.

You can remove the OCO link by updating either side of the OCO order using the update order call, but setting the OCO property to null in the request.

Hi,

If I create two distinct orders, is it possible to attach them together with the API (probably with field “IfDone” and updatestoplimitorder) ?

What action for attached order you need to achieve?

@andreif For example, we create a buy limit order under the market (order 1), then a sell stop order under this limit (order 2).

Is it possible to link these two orders with the API after their creation ? In order to put order 2 on the market (status=pending) once order 1 is executed , for example ?

In the same way, if order 1 and order 2 are OCO, is it possible to remove this link, without cancelled these orders ?
