Duplicate interface name (IStreamingClient)

Recommended Posts

Guest andreif

There are two interfaces called IStreamingClient (StreamingClient and CIAPI.Streaming namespaces). This causes name conflict in the client code.

Yes, this is a bit of an unfortunate coincidence ;–)

The type you want is CIAPI.Streaming.IStreamingClient.

try

using IStreamingClient = CIAPI.Streaming.IStreamingClient;

or similar. This is off the top of my head so may not be cut-n-paste but should point you the right direction.

Issue has been raised to clean this up –https://github.com/cityindex/ciapi.cs/issues#issue/31

Yes, “using IStreamingClient = CIAPI.Streaming.IStreamingClient;” does the trick. But this looks confusing.
