justin nelson got a reaction from MitchDimoulakis in Where is the AccountInformationResponseDTO object Description?
I’m trying to implement more CIAPI methods and I ran across a DTO I can’t find the documentation for.
The method GetClientAndTradingAccount specifies that it returns a AccountInformationResponseDTO object, but I can’t find it in the list of DTO objects. What am I missing?

I need new credentials for testing, but I am getting the following error when making the request:

justin nelson got a reaction from EncalahaTrora in Should the DeleteSession method read the username and session from the headers?
Most methods allow you to pass the username and session id in as http headers, but it looks like the DeleteSession method does not allow this. You are forced to pass the username and session ID as url params.
Should this be changed? Or is this [status-by-design]? I like being able to hide the user data in the headers, it feels a little more secure.

All of my Hudson builds are failing. The following is the build output:
Why can’t enough heap space be created? What can I do to fix it?

justin nelson got a reaction from MitchDimoulakis in Why does Hudson think I have more tests than I do?
Hudson is running old tests that are no longer in GitHub. How can I tell hudson to stop seeing those? Or is it possibly a problem with Maven? When I run the tests through Maven and Eclipse locally they all (7) pass.
You can see the tests in github here: Java tests
And the test failures here: Test results

justin nelson got a reaction from MitchDimoulakis in Currency being transferred as 'doubles' - Should it be ints for better accuracy?
I noticed that currency numbers are being represented as ‘doubles’ in the API. Should they be in integer values instead in order to be more accurate and avoid rounding errors?
    See for example OrderDTO

justin nelson got a reaction from MitchDimoulakis in Getting an error when trying to log into CIAPI. My credentials are invalid?
I’m currently running to issues logging in to the API. I’m using the following URL:
    http://ciapipreprod.cityindextest9.co.uk/TradingApi/session?
And the following POST entity data:
{"UserName":"DM904310","Password":"password"} The response I’m getting is:
{"ErrorCode":4010,"ErrorMessage":"The credentials used to authenticate are invalid.  Either the username, password or both are incorrect."} Is there a way I can test these credentials somewhere separate from my code so I can make sure that the problem isn’t in my code?

justin nelson got a reaction from GaleDouet in Missing DTO specification in API docs
The docs for ListTradeHistoryResponseDTO are missing the schema and example structure.
(p.s. should I keep reporting this stuff?)
